ESX Anticheat Setup: ESX Legacy & 1.x Protection

Tosun Anticheat for ESX FiveM servers — server-side protection against esx:addAccountMoney, inventory and weapon exploits.

On ESX servers, cheaters abuse esx:addAccountMoney, esx:giveInventoryItem and event spam. Tosun Anticheat monitors the ESX event chain server-side.

Setup steps

1. Create an account at tosundev.com and get your license key.
2. Upload Tosun Anticheat resource to your server.
3. Add ensure line to server.cfg (after framework).
4. Select the correct framework profile in the web panel.

Why the ESX Economy Is a Target

On ESX servers, money flow runs largely through esx:addAccountMoney and inventory events. If those events are not validated server-side, a cheater can write millions to their account with a simple trigger. Once the economy collapses, recovery is hard: prices break, veteran players leave and the server loses reputation.

Tosun ESX Event Validation

• Amount sanity check — increases beyond legitimate limits in a single transaction are flagged.
• Source validation — does the script calling the event actually have money-granting authority?
• Trigger spam — calls repeated at short intervals are caught, the classic trace of dupe attempts.
• Inventory consistency — impossible increases in item counts are detected.
• Job exploits — ambulance revive spam, duty bypass and unauthorised job events.

ESX Legacy vs 1.x

Event names and the inventory layer differ between ESX Legacy and older 1.x builds. Tosun recognises both generations; selecting the correct ESX profile in the panel is enough. On hybrid stacks (ESX Legacy + ox_inventory) specify the inventory type as well.

1. tosun-ac must be ensured AFTER es_extended.
2. Select the ESX profile and inventory type in the panel.
3. Run in log-only mode on day one and whitelist legitimate money sources.
4. Tune thresholds to your economy pace, then enable automatic action.
